The Faie Rosebowl is the East District Individual Championship, played as a straight final. No heats are played beforehand.

This tournament uses a standard simple system to minimise discussions at the start of every round.

There are no particular entrance qualification requirements.

Numbers are critical as an event with “4N-1” players is impossible to run (where N. is the Number of tables). The ideal number for the competition is 25. It is essential to have reserves in attendance to cater for players not turning up or turning up without entering.

This competition alternates between the Carlton and the Melville in alternate years.

Available in Bronze

The Bronze 1 & 2 Individual event runs in parallel, expect to play about 24 boards.

As an individual event, you will be changing partners each round so loads of people to blame if things should inexplicably go wrong! It’s great fun provided you take it in the right spirit of adventure :o) Everyone will play the same simple system so no need to worry about system mishaps.

This tournament uses a standard simple system (updated for 2017) to minimise discussions at the start of every round.
